Breakfast

Start your day off at possibly the cutest restaurant in Columbia County, Rooted Coffeehouse. Grab a handcrafted Coffee or specialty drink and for a treat try it with one of their house made syrups. For your meal, try a Superfood Acai Bowl or a bowl of their Gourmet Oats, all of which are Instagram worthy! You cannot go wrong with one of their breakfast sandwiches or Avo Toast!

Another option if you are looking for great Coffee is the Harlem Java House. Serving up seasonal flavors and fresh baked treats, Harlem Java House in the heart of Downtown Historic Harlem. So, grab a delicious breakfast and then stroll through the quaint downtown of Harlem.

Lunch

For lunch, be sure to try Columbia County’s newest restaurant, Frog and the Hen Market and Eatery. This farm to table establishment offers a menu with seasonal, locally sourced and all natural food. Some items on the menu include: antibiotic and hormone free roasted chicken, pot pies, roasted local leg of lamb and all organic roasted pork loin ”Philly-style” sandwiches. No trip is complete without a visit to Frog and the Hen’s market where you can take home regional jams, jellies, retail wines, craft beers and cold press juices.

If you find yourself in the Evans area at lunchtime, stop in to Twisted Burrito for a unique twist on southwestern cuisine. Here you can grab what they call an “American Burrito” which is simply a burrito with fresh, globally inspired ingredients. A customer favorite here is the Bob Marley, which includes Jerk Chicken, saffron rice, black beans, tomato, pineapple bruschetta, mixed cheese, crispy tortilla strips, and chipotle mango aioli. Twisted Burrito also features tacos, salads, craft beer on draft and monthly food specials.

Dinner

For dinner, snag a reservation for Cork & Flame, a unique fine dining experience. Cork and Flame features an industrial open kitchen layout, Argentine-style grills, expanded vegetarian menu and full bar. What makes Cork & Flame so unique, however, is their wine market and chef’s table dining experience. The wine market is open during the day but after 5 p.m., guests can order from the tapas menu to enjoy while they select the perfect bottle of wine. And speaking of these over 400 wines, you can select from any of those from the restaurant as well. The Chef’s dining table can be reserved for larger parties and range anywhere from eight to twelve courses. Reservations are strongly encouraged for a table in the dining room and are available on opentable.com.

For the freshest Italian Food in the area, you will want to visit Cucina 503. The menu at Cucina 503 features high quality Italian favorites like Lasagna Rustica and Pasta Cabonara. Did we mention that the pasta is made fresh in house? They also offer modern Italian dishes like braised beef short ribs and Pan Roasted Branzino. No Italian feast would be complete without a delicious drink from the bar, which features seasonal craft beers on tap, an eclectic wine list and hand crafted cocktails.

Nightcap

We suggest you end your evening at Farmhaus Burgers. Yes, we suggest going here for their amazing farm to table burgers, BUT we are suggesting Farmhaus for a nightcap because of their amazing boozy milkshakes and crafted cocktails. If you ask us our favorite and because this is the south, we would suggest the Nana’s Puddin’ made with Banana Rum, Irish Cream and vanilla wafers.
