Hot Air Balloon Festival Comes to Columbia County

The Augusta Balloon Festival is coming to Columbia County Fairgrounds on September 25th & 26th, 2020. Bring the whole family out to see an incredible hot air balloon and laser show!

Other attractions include:

·        A Kids Zone with games, rides, bounce houses, mechanical bulls, and bungee jumps
·        DJ Music for your entertainment from a variety of Artists
·        Craft & Retail Vendors
·        Food Vendors with festival style food
·        Tethered Hot air Balloon rides will be available for purchase at the event for $20

Make sure to stay for the Grand Finale Hot Air Balloon Glow & Laser show. This 1-hour show incorporates music and visually stunning coordinated burns by the Hot Air Balloons & Lasers, creating a Glow! Bring your blankets, chairs, umbrellas to set up your own viewing spot!

FAQ:

* Social Distancing and sanitation protocols will be in place.
* Mask will be required while in food vendor lines. We will also encourage guests to wear masks at all times.
* Parking is $5 and onsite. Watch for parking signs. VIP Parking and Handicapped Parking available.
* No Coolers allowed.
* No Pets allowed, sorry. The “Burner” noise from the hot air balloons can get loud and is disturbing to dogs.
* Blankets, Chairs, and personal umbrellas are permitted. No alcohol is allowed.
* Kids Zone requires tickets ranging from $1 to $15 for unlimited rides.
* Proceeds to benefit the Special Olympics.
