Weekend Round Up of Events in Columbia County, October 4-5!
Beginnings: a Chicago Celebration– Celebrate the music of Chicago with the Orlando Transit Authority, a high-energy Chicago Tribute Show. This must see event is Friday, October 4th at 7:30 at the Hardin Auditorium. Tickets are available through Augusta Amusements.
Betty’s Fork and Paddle– Eat at Betty’s Branch this Friday, October 4th from 5-9 pm. The event will begin with a sunset paddle on the beautiful Savannah River and will be followed by live music and a three-course dinner provided by French Market Grill West. There will also be local craft beers and other domestics available for purchase. (This event is now sold out)
FireK FiveK– Come enjoy a scenic 5K run or walk at Evans Towne Center this Saturday, October 5th at 8 am. This event supports the individual financial needs of local firefighters who are battling cancer. Kids will also LOVE this event with an expanded fun zone, a kid’s fun run, fire trucks, live DJ, superheroes, and more! There will also be plenty of food and fun!
31st Annual Oliver Hardy Festival– Join thousands of your closest friends in Harlem, GA this Saturday for the 31st Annual Oliver Hardy Festival in Downtown Harlem from 9 am – 4 pm. This FREE event will feature a parade, live entertainment, vendors, and food! See you there!
