AAU T&F at Grovetown High

This weekend, Grovetown High School will play host to the AAU Georgia Junior Olympic Track and Field Qualifier, and it's going to be an event you won't want to miss. From June 7th to June 9th, the school grounds will be alive with the energy of over 1,200 athletes, their families, and supporters, promising an atmosphere of thrilling competition. But it's not just about the thrill of the race; this event is set to have a significant economic impact, estimated at nearly $400,000, on the local area.

Leticia Beverly, Georgia AAU Track and Field District Director, expressed her excitement about returning to Columbia County, saying, "We are thrilled to be back in Columbia County for another exciting event. Grovetown High School provides an excellent venue for our athletes to showcase their talent, and we are grateful for the warm welcome from the community."
