Physical activity on the lake can be an exhilarating experience, combining exercise and adventure. Other activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing offer ways to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings while leisurely paddling or catching the rush of adrenaline. Stand up atop a paddleboard or kickback in a kayak or canoe and leave your cares behind in the wake you make. Fishing from kayaks and canoes is another excellent type of sporting adventure, as it can be done in solitude and with access to remote and shallow areas of the lake.
Exploring the lake by boat is a wonderful experience, with motorboats and sailboats gracing its waters year-round. Over 170 sailboats have raced against each other on the lake here to the delight of the regatta’s serious competitors and cheering spectators.
