The Reed Creek Nature Park and Interpretive Center is where you can look for wildlife in an active wetland area. Start with a stroll on the boardwalk over the wetland to view the many animals and plants of this ecosystem. Then, head over to the demonstration and pollination gardens. Finally, check out the Interpretive Center to see the ambassador animals on display. Local tip: Reed Creek Park offers several educational programs. The Columbia County Library is an excellent resource for educational experiences. The main library and its branches often host magic shows, reptile shows, makerspace time, coding sessions, and a multitude of clubs that are sure to peak the interest of the curious minds.
