Spend the morning on the golf course taking in 18 holes at Bartram Trail Golf Club or Eisenhower Lakes Golf Club.  Bartram Trail, located in Evans, is the only public golf course in Columbia County to offer MiniVerde fine bladed Ultra Dwarf Bermuda grass and features five par 5’s and five par 3’s. Private golf lessons can be scheduled by appointment with each of the three professional instructors. These certified teaching professionals enjoy working with the novice to the advanced players and focus on player improvement with sustained success. Eisenhower Lakes Golf Club, located on Fort Eisenhower, is a championship, 27-hole layout golf course with a practice range, practice putting and chipping greens, and a well-stocked pro shop. The original 18 holes were designed and built in 1976 by Robert Trent Jones Senior. Six holes are played around a 20-acre lake and feature a signature island hole from the renowned golf course architect. The course has 81 bunkers and cutouts inside Georgia pines and other native trees. Open to the public, this is one of the finest golf courses in the South. 

In the afternoon, try your hand at a different kind of golf at the International Disc Golf Center, headquartered at Wildwood Park in Appling and managed by the Professional Disc Golf Association. Here you will find a full service pro shop, putting course, and a championship disc golf course. The disc golf course is open to all, and tournaments are frequently held here for those looking for competition events.
