Fishing Rodeo

We've stocked over a thousand catfish for children of all ages to come out and catch! It's a great way for beginners to catch their first fish or for experienced anglers to catch a cooler full. Awards will be given out at the end of the rodeo.

Grovetown Market

The Grovetown Market will be a place to find fresh fruits, vegetables and plants. There will also be local artisans and crafts, food stands and more. The Grovetown Market will take place every other Saturday starting May 18th through September 21st (May 18, June 1, 15 & 29, July 13 & 27, August 10 & 24, September 7 & 21) at Goodale Park from 9am to 1pm.

Pedal, Paddle, and Pant Benefit

Saturday, September 21, 2019  •  9 AM - 3 PM

Join Savannah Rapids Kayak Rental and The Bicycle Peddler for our first annual Pedal, Paddle, & Pant event to benefit the CSRA HUMANE SOCIETY! We are going to start our event at the Augusta Canal Mill Village Trailhead (along the canal at 109 Eve Street) where we will first bike (pedal!) 5 miles up the canal tow path to the Savannah Rapids Park where we will then kayak (paddle!) 5 miles back down the Augusta Canal back to the Mill Village Trailhead! Participants will then run(pant!), or walk or jog :), .5 miles to the CSRA Humane Society and then back for a totally of 1 mile to the Mill Village Trailhead along the Canal.

2nd Annual Kid’s Conservation Day

Saturday, September 21, 2019  •  11 AM - 3 PM

A FREE event for 3rd through 8th graders living in the CSRA who have an interest in learning about fishing, boating safety, and conservation. All Students registered to attend will receive a Free Rod and Reel combo and Kids Conservation Day T-Shirt.
