The second you step into Sól Himalayan Salt Cave and Spa, you completely forget you are in the center of the hustle and bustle of Evans, Georgia. All of the day's stress quickly disappears in the tranquil setting of their beautiful salt cave created with hundreds of Himalayan Salt bricks. Close your eyes and listen quietly to the soft music and the flow of the water feature that helps draw out the minerals and elements from the Himalayan Salt Rock that richly saturate the air. The water feature works in conjunction with the halogenerator, which grinds and disperses pharmaceutical-grade salt into the air. This process is called Halotherapy. The health benefits can be extraordinary for some with allergies and sinus inflammation.

Many people who enjoy halotherapy regularly may find relief from respiratory issues such as allergies, sinusitis, upper respiratory infections, bronchitis, asthma, COPD, emphysema, pneumonia and ear, sinus, and respiratory infections. Halotherapy may also relieve some symptoms of acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, inflammation and dry skin.

 Know before you go:

Everyone is here to relax! You may choose either a zero gravity chair or lay directly on the salt floor with a blanket and pillow, just like at the beach. If you do not see your preferred choice available, just ask. They have two reclining chairs with ottomans right at the entrance for those who may have mobility issues. Please leave those available first for those who genuinely need it. Wheelchairs are welcome as well on our Himalayan brick entrance! Please notify them at the time of the appointment if you need wheelchair accessibility as they only have space for one per session.

Once the cave door closes, they cannot reopen it for those running late as it will disrupt those who are already in a deeply relaxed state. You may either wait for the next available cave session if a spot is still open or reschedule. If you must get up to leave to use the restroom or for any other reason, please do so quietly. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed back in as it will cause more disruptions. You will also not will you be eligible for a refund, so please make sure you use the restroom beforehand.

You may dress as usual. You can wear shoes, socks or go barefoot in the cave, but you must put on the disposable shoe covers that are provided. To get full benefits for skin issues such as acne, psoriasis and eczema, we recommend shorts and a t-shirt or tank top to expose as much skin as possible. The cave stays between 68-72 degrees to help mimic the climate of an actual salt cave and better saturation of the air for proper inhalation of the salt. They provide blankets for those who would prefer to cover up.

Cave sessions start promptly every hour, on the hour, such as 10:00, 11:00, and so on. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session.

Please do not touch the cave walls, fireplace or water feature.

Please, no talking in the cave as everyone is here to relax and disconnect from the outside world. If you have rented the entire cave for a private party, then you are free to talk if you wish. In fact, many have strategic office meetings in the cave!

Please stay seated during the session and do not walk around.

No cellphones or personal items such as purses or bags are allowed in the cave. Lockers (under video surveillance) are provided for you, and you will hold onto your locker key during your session. Please silence cell phones when placed inside the locker.

Feeling a tickle in your throat or a little coughing is normal as the salty air is helping to break up congestion. We do ask if you are sick and contagious to please wait for another day so as not to spread any germs.
