In partnership with Expedia, Georgia Tourism emergency lodging and hotels page has been activated to provide travelers and evacuees with real-time accommodations availability. It can be accessed at www.expedia.com/Georgia.

Campsites & Cabins
Evacuees and their pets are welcome in Georgia's State Parks. Park pass and pet fees will be waived for evacuees. Some stables are available for horses. Campsites and cottages are available at regular rates, and "dry camping" is free during this emergency event.

Strom Thurmond Lake Project
Strom Thurmond Lake Project is projected to have camping availability for the next few weeks. Dorian evacuees are welcome to make reservations by calling 877-444-6777. If you require special accommodations, contact them directly at 864-333-1100.

The following Red Cross Evacuation Shelter is open in Columbia County (as of 9-3-19 at 10:00 a.m.)

State officials have begun contraflow of traffic on I-16 starting at I-95 near Savannah and north to U.S. 441 in Dublin, a distance of 125 miles. All I-16 lanes will allow only westbound traffic.
