The free, gamified check-in challenge invites both visitors and local residents to explore the full Serene18 Paddle Trail through a convenient digital experience while enjoying the natural beauty of the county’s waterways.

The Serene18 Paddle Trail is known for offering a rewarding outdoor excursion that challenges participants to take on all five routes along the trail. With the new digital passport, paddlers can now track their progress and check in at each location along the route using their mobile devices.

“The Serene18 Paddle Trail has become a signature outdoor experience for our community, and the digital passport gives people another way to enjoy it from start to finish,” said Shelly Blackburn, Executive Director for Visit Columbia County. “Whether someone is discovering the trail for the first time or returning to complete all five routes, the new digital format adds a sense of fun and motivation while highlighting the unique paddling opportunities we have throughout the county.”

The digital passport builds on the success of the printed version by offering an additional way to engage with the trail while maintaining the same spirit of exploration and accomplishment.

Participants who check in at all five routes earn 100 points for each successful check-in. Complete the challenge and redeem the points to receive a FREE Serene18 Paddle Trail T-shirt to commemorate the achievement. T-shirts are available for pickup at The Visitor Center Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm each week, excluding major holidays.
