Appling, GA (April 1, 2019) – The Competitive Wake Surf Association (CWSA) series will be coming back to Columbia County for a second year.
The weekend of May 18, surf boards will take to the water for the Clarks Hill Wakesurf Open at Pointes West Resort Beach and Pavilion in Appling, GA. The amateur to pro level event is part of the World Series of Wakesurfing for competitive wakesurfing. More than 70 riders from all over the country will come to town in hopes of taking home the $10,000 purse.
The Clarks Hill Wakesurf Open event is one of three wakesurf events scheduled for the East Coast in 2019. Surfers from as far as California and Canada will be competing.
The public is invite to attend. There will be raffles, kids activities and a Diablo’s Southwest Grill food truck on site for the event.
